If you believe it. You can achieve it.
"I had passion, power and a strong will to start on my own, because I knew I had to. I had to be my own boss and live out all my creative ideas, and I’m so grateful I did"
- Signe Bay
Many moons ago on an warm summer evening, I was born into a family with magical women. For as long as I can remember three generations of caregivers instilled the ideal that with a lot of hard work, a little perseverance and a touch of faith in the universe, anything I could dream was within my reach.
My first entrepreneurial venture started in 1998 as part of a school assignment where I put forward an idea with three of my friends to open a store in our high school. Initially our idea was met with resistance but we pressed forward - building, growing and steadily increasing revenues enabling us to keep the store running for almost 2 years. I didn't know it at the time, but that experience planted the seeds of what has now become a life-long desire to live, dream and create with a deeper sense of purpose. My vocation is simple: uphold my ancestral tradition of knowledge sharing through lived experience and storytelling while using the power, privilege and resources I have available to help others create and build for themselves. Nearly 20 years after my first venture I couldn't be more excited to share my professional skills, expertise and beautifully experimental journey with the next generation of dreamers.
I was born in the early eighties on the cusp of the Generation X and Generation Y transition, allowing me to hold the duality of empathizing with Baby Boomer perceptions while maintaining a sense of solidarity with my fellow millennials as we navigate through radically different times in every aspect of our lives. Advancements in modern technologies has increased our capabilities, created alternate pathways to employment and forever changed the way we live, work and connect. In a world full of increasing distractions, staring your own venture can feel like a daunting task but you don't have to do it alone. If you have thought, an idea, or a dream that you're not sure how to approach, send me email to see if I can help. I always look forward to an open conversation between two-like minded individuals to see if my skills and services are the right fit.
If you don't have an idea that you'd like to share, say hello anyway - I'd love to hear from you.
